Today, Boxin Metaverse announced the official launch of the immersive experience "Paris 1874: An Evening with the Impressionists" in Shenzhen.

"Paris 1874: An Evening with the Impressionists" is the third large-space virtual reality immersive exploration experience project presented by Boxin Metaverse, following its successful introduction of the phenomenal works "The Vanishing Pharaoh" and "The Epoch of Life". This experience fully recreates the birth moment of Impressionism in 1874. Currently, it has only launched in two cities in China—Shanghai and Shenzhen—with tickets for the Shenzhen stop starting at 148 yuan.

This work is produced by France's Excurio, co-presented by GEDEON Experiences and the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, and academically supported by Sylvie Patry and Anne Robbins, senior curators of the Musée d'Orsay. Launched officially at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris in March last year, it sparked the first wave of immersive experiences themed around art, with reportedly over 80,000 users participating.

The entire experience lasts approximately 45 minutes, starting from the streets of Paris, France in 1874. Following the guide, visitors enter photographer Nadar's studio on Boulevard des Capucines in Paris, where they personally participate in the opening night of the first Impressionist exhibition, embarking on an exploration of the origins and influences of the groundbreaking Impressionist art movement. Audiences can not only admire up close the masterpieces by renowned artists such as Monet, Cézanne, Renoir, and Degas in Nadar's studio; they can also stroll along the Seine to feel the prosperity and elegance of Parisian neighborhoods of that era; join a day trip to the outskirts of Paris to watch Renoir painting the scenery of La Grenouillère with his friends; or appear at the port of Le Havre to enjoy the sunrise with Monet...

In addition, audiences can also encounter 7 renowned artists, their seminal works, and the original locations of the scenes—including Monet’s Impression, Sunrise, Renoir’s Parisian Women, Degas’ The Ironers, Morisot’s The Cradle, Cézanne’s Modern Olympia, Pissarro’s Hoarfrost, and Bazille’s Bazille’s Studio. They can stand alongside the artists, listen to their intellectual exchanges, and watch their creative processes.
