DreamPark's MR theme park has officially opened in Seattle

DreamPark, a company specializing in LBE XR entertainment development, recently announced that it has opened a permanent 25,000-square-foot (approximately 2,323-square-meter) MR experience venue called "DreamPark Seattle" at West Canal Yards, a waterfront redevelopment project in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle.


The facility offers free-roaming MR experiences designed for children aged 4 and above as well as adults. Visitors can participate in immersive multiplayer adventures that overlay digital content onto the physical world. DreamPark Seattle provides MR drift trike racing games, along with options for team-building activities and birthday parties. General admission tickets are priced at $20, while DreamPark track experiences cost $10. The MR venue is only open on weekends.


Earlier this year, DreamPark announced that it had secured $1.1 million in funding, led by Long Journey Ventures. This funding supports DreamPark's expansion of its "access point" network, which uses physical markers (such as QR codes) that can be scanned via Meta Quest headsets or mobile devices to unlock MR digital asset overlays at real-world locations.
