Xpeng Motors recently announced that the new Xpeng P7's AR-HUD has added playful AR micro-interactions: In frustrating driving situations like being cut off or stuck in traffic, drivers can tap a steering wheel button to trigger random AR animations such as hearts, smileys, emojis, and fireworks.

According to the introduction, the all-new Xpeng P7 is a pure electric sports sedan focusing on performance and intelligence. Positioned to rival million-level luxury sports sedans, it redefines the luxury sports sedan experience. It is equipped with three self-developed Turing AI chips, boasting a total vehicle computing power of 2250 TOPS, and adopts an 800V high-voltage SiC platform paired with a 5C ultra-fast charging AI battery to enable rapid energy replenishment. In addition, the new car features a mid-mounted electric drive layout identical to that of supercars, achieving a 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.7 seconds and a driving range of 702-820 kilometers.

The all-new Xpeng P7 comes with a 3-axis flexible screen and a maximum 87-inch AR-HUD, which can display AR lane-level navigation, AR assisted driving, and AR safety assistance. During the pre-sale period earlier, the number of reservations exceeded 10,000 units in just 6 minutes and 37 seconds.
